Duties and responsibilities

1- Sets annual sales and marketing plans and prepares budgets.

2- Decides sales and marketing strategies for present and new books.

3- Decides book prices and printing numbers after consulting the team, submits result for approval of management.

4- Makes cost/sales analysis for reprinting out-of-stock products.

5- Plans and oversees sales and marketing operations for new writers, series, and books.

6- Diversifies sale outlets and oversees their management.

7- Analyses competition and market conditions, chooses new sales and marketing tactics.

8- Oversees inventory management process.

9- Forms a sales team and controls its operations.

10- Conducts market research and informs the editorial board about the market and competition.

11- Provides professional development opportunities for the team.
