Project team started up

Professions in Publishing Project has been officially initiated on 15 February 2016 with a contract signed with the contracting authority, Central Finance and Contract Unit. The first meeting of the 15-month long project has been made in the Project Office on 26 February with participation of the Project team and the Turkish Publishers Association President Metin Celal. The Administrative Manager Selen Akcali has opened the meeting with a brief summary of the projects aims, target groups and planned activities. She also explained the details of each activity and main official procedures to be followed during the project. The meeting ended by an overview of the Project plan and the discussion part held by the project team on various technical details of the Project activities. A press bulletin including the main information of the Project and the first meeting was released to the press and the publishing stakeholders.
