Responsible for in-house communications, establishing external connections, and following up pre- and post-publishing processes as well as coordination between various units for publishing books and other projects (new / update / reprint).

 

Duties and responsibilities

1- Prepares the annual publication program with the publication director, distributes it in consonance with the general company schedule and coordination with separate units, ensuring the operation process is in sync.

2- Sends invitations to the editorial board, sets meeting schedules, keeps minutes.

3- Establishes and maintains links between the publisher and the third party contributors (author, translator, editor, proofreader, etc.)

4- Evaluates projects.

5- Makes contracts or has contracts made.

6- Follows and coordinates the relationship between publishing units (editor, graphic, public relations, marketing).

7- Organizes pre, in due course and post publication process between different brands if there are any.

8- Ensures that the final inspection is done before printing, checks and approves the contractual compliance of products to be printed.

9- Carries out reprinting or renewal operations.

10- Oversees record keeping and archiving within the institution.
