Is primarily responsible for overseeing the creation of a publication program in line with the publisher’s policy, the production of the project, the management of the product development and visioning, and provides and manages the relationship between the publisher and third parties (authors, translators, etc.).

 

Duties and responsibilities

1- Prepares the budget that will be presented to the managerial member (general manager or publisher depending on the structure of the company), along with the Publishing Coordinator.

2- Prepares the publication plan in accordance with the publishing terms, principles and decisions of the editorial board.

3- Establishes and advances relations between the authors/translators and the publishing house, and determines the terms and conditions of the contracts.

4- Brings new authors/translators to the publishing house (native/foreign).

5- Oversees the acquisition and production of new projects, pre-evaluates the proposed projects for the consideration of organization (team and management).

6- Provides professional development opportunities for the team.
